Hello CPR aka the FINAL module of Term 1!!! Good riddance MSK! :)

 Hey y'all!

MSK is officially over now that grades are released and I won't miss her LOL. I did not feel good about this exam at all. It was Gross Anatomy at Barry on steroids. Not that Anatomy changes, but time was a huge factor. Everything that we spent a whole semester on was thrown at me in 3 weeks. There was no time to solidify it all the way I like to. Rather, it was learn a little here there and learn a little there. We started the final module of the term yesterday-CPR which is Cardiac, Pulmonary, and Renal. It consists of 2 block exams, a lab practical, and an OCEX (online clinical skills exam). These last 7 weeks are going to fly by. I apologize in advance if I become unreachable especially the last 2 weeks. Don't charge my heart.

I've often been told by my mentors that medical school is a marathon not a sprint. It is so true! This is by far the most difficult, exhausting, yet rewarding, thing I have ever done. The countless hours studying, the constant cycle of doubting myself, and the feelings of imposter syndrome. I'm writing this in shock because my grade on the exam is not what I anticipated at all. I had even went as far as convincing myself that I was going to have to repeat the term-I know catastrophic right. I feel like I get beat up by medical school every day.

God never ceases to amaze me. He keeps showing me over and over to continue trusting him. Everything is working out exactly how he planned it for my life. It's looking like we are going to be online for Term 2 next term as well. This certainly is not ideal but these are not ideal times. Part of being a balanced Physician is possessing the ability to be adaptable in different situations. I feel that this is a great way to show that. To all my classmates-Just keep swimming! We are almost there.
