So what is ITI?

ITI is interactive team based instruction where you are paired with a facilitator immediately after lectures to discuss stop points. These can be in the form of questions or open ended statements. It is a resource to help you succeed if you are identified as someone that could use extra help after exam scores are released. At first I thought it was something negative and I hated the fact I was being asked to join. It was offered to me after the first exam and I declined entry because my mindset was I didn’t have these problems in term 1 so why should I join. After I received my exam score for the 2nd exam I knew I had to change things. Continuing to do the same thing and expect different results is insanity. Honestly, it turns out that joining ITI is what helped saved me from myself. Mindset is everything. Although I didn’t get the same outcome from every session, overall it is completely worth it in my opinion to reinforce the material. I hope this helps anyone finding themselves in a dilemma on whether they should join or not.
